Industrial maintenance technician wanted in Gateshead

Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial maintenance technician in Gateshead, England. What we are looking for: • Confident reading technical and electrical drawings • Vocational qualification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics or electrics Day to day you will carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on motors, pumps and gearboxes; inspect machine guards and safety interlocks during routine checks; align and balance rotating equipment such as fans and shafts; respond to emergency breakdown calls during shift; keep a maintenance log of work carried out and spare parts used; replace conveyor belts, rollers and chains on production lines. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around £1,900 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends.
