Immediate opening: gas meter installer (Alabama)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Chilton County, Alabama. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. The role involves install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
