UPVC welding machine operator wanted in Clinton County

Join our team: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Clinton County, New York. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Your main tasks: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
