Immediate opening: reinforcement fitter (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Ellsworth County, Kansas. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On a typical shift you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
