Join our team: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Rockingham County, North Carolina. You will work on residential new-build sites. Requirements: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) Your main tasks: • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
