Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Hoke County

You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills The role involves: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
