Occupational health and safety officer — Clay County

Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Clay County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites On a typical shift you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
