Now hiring: we are hiring a window glazier in Island County, Washington. The job is at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Requirements: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Day-to-day duties: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
