Lift mechanic wanted in Manchester

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Manchester, England. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
