Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread baker in Henry County, Iowa. You will be based in a bread factory. You will score the top of loaves before baking; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • 2+ years' experience as a baker Six days a week, one day off.
