Immediate opening: we are hiring a vehicle body repairer in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a smash repair workshop. You should have: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding The role involves: • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer 2+ years on the tools preferred.
