Formwork erector — Essex County

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork erector in Essex County, New York. You will be based on a residential tower site. Day-to-day duties: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
