Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Suffolk County, New York. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage The role involves load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $22 per hour plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
