Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. The role involves: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Full-time, day shift.
