Great opportunity: brick and block layer (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Shawnee County, Kansas. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. On a typical shift you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
