Join our team: we are hiring a materials handling operator in Nevada County, California. You will work at a container loading yard. On a typical shift you will sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris; top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains; read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit; log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book; load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers; transport raw materials and finished goods between bays. You should have: • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
