UPVC welding machine operator — Morgan County

Join our team: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Morgan County, Alabama. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Day to day you will cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors 3+ years on the tools preferred.
