Construction helper — Douglas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction helper in Douglas County, Wisconsin. Your main tasks: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker 2+ years on the tools preferred.
