We are recruiting: occupational health and safety officer (Ohio)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Clark County, Ohio. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. On the job you will handle: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 3+ years on the tools preferred.
