Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Tuolumne County, California. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
