Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Mississippi County, Missouri. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. Requirements: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Day-to-day duties: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure 6+ years on the tools preferred.
