Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Suffolk County, New York. You will be based in a spray booth. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Your main tasks: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
