Die-casting operator • Rio Blanco County, Colorado

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Rio Blanco County, Colorado. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
