Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Buffalo County, South Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Your main tasks: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Rotating shifts.
