Gas installation technician wanted in Greene County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Greene County, Arkansas. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day to day you will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Able to read isometric and site drawings Full-time, day shift.
