Glazing assistant — Borough of Oldham

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Borough of Oldham, England. Ideal candidate: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Day to day you will cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; replace cracked or broken window panes; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; install toughened and laminated safety glass. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
