Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Mineral County, West Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
