Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundsman in Menifee County, Kentucky. You will be based in a public park. What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage The role involves repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
