Final inspection operator • Iron County, Wisconsin

We are recruiting: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Iron County, Wisconsin. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Six days a week, one day off.
