Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Union County, Illinois. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
