Aluminium TIG welder wanted in Clarendon County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Clarendon County, South Carolina. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal 3+ years on the tools preferred.
