Floor screeder • Rooks County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a floor screeder in Rooks County, Kansas. The job is on a road and bridge project. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
