MIG welder • Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
