PVC window assembler • Steuben County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Steuben County, New York. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day to day you will fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails. What we are looking for: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
