Fabricator-welder wanted in Loudoun County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Loudoun County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime Meals and transport allowance provided.
