Joiner wanted in Shelby County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a joiner in Shelby County, Illinois. You will work at a shopfitting company. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Good eye for detail and a clean finish The role involves: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
