Lift erector — Dubuque County

Join our team: we are hiring a lift erector in Dubuque County, Iowa. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day to day you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Part-time with flexible hours.
