Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Johnson County, Texas. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage The role involves: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
