Structural MIG welder • Pike County, Missouri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Pike County, Missouri. The job is at an automobile body shop. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Day to day you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
