Occupational health and safety officer • Brighton and Hove, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Brighton and Hove, England. The role involves: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer £2,550 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
