Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate The role involves set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL).
