Now hiring: service technician - home appliances (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a service technician - home appliances in Blackpool, England. Your main tasks: • Check earth continuity and insulation resistance with a PAT tester before handover • Test and replace heating elements, thermostats and thermal fuses • Descale and clean condenser coils, filters and drainage systems • Install new appliances and connect water, gas and electrical supplies • Strip down and rebuild appliance motors, pumps and compressors You should have: • Knowledge of appliance electrical and mechanical systems • Good customer manner and clear communication with clients • City & Guilds or NVQ in appliance servicing or electrical installation Overtime paid at a premium rate.
