We are recruiting: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Linn County, Iowa. You will work in the profile cutting and welding bay. Day to day you will rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame. What we are looking for: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Rotating shifts.
