Vacancy available: gas metal arc welder (Montana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Stillwater County, Montana. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
