Lathe programmer-operator — Somerset

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Somerset, England. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T You will load and index turning tools in the turret; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers. Six days a week, one day off. £2,050 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
