We are recruiting: stainless steel welder (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Jefferson County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
