Ceiling and wall plasterer — City and Borough of Leeds

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in City and Borough of Leeds, England. The job is on a busy domestic building site. Day to day you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; check walls for plumb and level as you go; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work. What we are looking for: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish 3+ years on the tools preferred. £15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
