Urgent requirement: steel fixing chargehand (Louisiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules On the job you will handle: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
