Commercial tyre fitter — Montgomery County

Now hiring: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Montgomery County, Kansas. The job is in a commercial truck tyre depot. Day-to-day duties: • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts What we are looking for: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage Full-time with occasional weekends.
