Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Pettis County, Missouri. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. You will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
